7th grade students present hero's journey projects in English I and II.

Over the last several weeks, students in Mrs. Hembra's English I and II classes have been exploring the concept of the hero's journey through various forms of text.  Students were asked to pick a text of their choice --novel, movie, or TV show-- and examine how the main character goes through the 12 steps of the hero's journey.  All students were given a choice of how they wanted to represent their analysis of their chosen text.  Through the use of posters and slideshows, students began presenting today, and will continue to present their projects throughout the week.
