First graders in Mrs. Gray’s class have been practicing writing their sight words in shaving cream this week. This task is a part of a project being led by Miss Cam, a high school intern in the class. She is leading activities to see if a more hands-on approach to sight words will lead to better retention of the words the kids work on. The kids sure are enjoying her “project”!
