Congratulations to the following seniors who are continuing their academic and playing careers at Monmouth College. Davis Rogers will be playing golf and studying physical education. Congratulations to our April Employee of the Month for PAES Lab & STEP! McKale works hard in the PAES Lab each day, shows perseverance, & has a positive attitude! Baylee has spent this semester in the work program in the OTP classroom helping out as an intern. She works so well with our students & we appreciate all she does! 🩵

Future geographers? Future Redbirds? Only time will tell! The AP Human Geography students spent the morning at ISU with the ISU Geography Department learning about careers in Geography and exploring the Quad while using GPS technology to map trees. "Geography, is where it's at!" 😉









The varsity softball and varsity baseball games vs. PORTA and the JV baseball game vs. Dee-Mack are all cancelled today due to poor field conditions. Coaches will communicate about practices.

Today, the Olympia Transition Program got to celebrate our awesome PE buddies in Unified PE at the Corn Crib watching a college baseball game! We had so much fun! Thank you to our buddies: Harley, Savanna, Matt, McKenna, Eva, Lanie, Ava, Kayden, Emmalee, & Daytona! 🩵🩵🩵

JV Softball with a 13-10 win at Lexington-Ridgeview on Monday. The Lady Spartans pounded out 18 hits, with Sarah Horner going 4-4 and hitting for the cycle and 6 RBIs. Olivia Casagrande and Mikenna Hill each with three hits. Vivian and Virginia Frerichs with two RBIs each. Sarah Horner picked up the win, allowing six runs on six hits and six strikeouts. JV Spartans improve to 10-6 on the season.

Our freshman mentors did some tremendous work at the PBIS workshop at the ROE! Thank you to Ami Flammini for hosting us and facilitating this opportunity for our students. It was incredible to watch the students take ownership and share their insight on what can be done to help improve our schools. It'll be exciting to see what this group can accomplish in the coming years!
