Olympia Middle School

On Monday February 23rd, Operations and Maintenance Director Scott Thornton was honored with the Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Nathan Schulz is an Olympia employee in the Operations and Maintenance Department and recently went through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, and while he was away from the district, Mr. Thornton continually checked in on him and provided him support from afar. Nathan nominated Scott for the Patriot award due to his support and understanding while he was away from the district for his training. The district is proud of Nathan's service to our country and appreciate all of the support that he has been given while he has been in training.
