Homecoming Week

Homecoming week is approaching very soon, Spartans! Due to current restrictions, this Homecoming will look a lot different than years in the past. The Homecoming theme for 2020 is Spartan Strong! All of the fall sports and activities will be showcased to congratulate the teams and students. Homecoming week is a competition where each grade competes against each other for victory. Some of the events include dress-up days, hallway decoration, academic and sports relays, a school song competition, class banners, and coin wars. This year there will be a coin war, coins add points and dollars subtract points to the class of your choosing. The money raised will benefit the OHS Student Council and go right back into the community. At the end of the week, there will be a homecoming parade and drive-in movie. The parade starts at 4 pm on Saturday and will include all towns in the Olympia district. At the conclusion of the parade, about 6:45, OHS will feature a drive-in movie. The movie shown will be “Hoovey,” a movie based on the life of Eric Elliot who is an Olympia Graduate. Concessions will be available for purchase.
