Our Olympia Transition Program students are on it! Dawson and Ethan have daily jobs delivering packages straight to teachers' classroom doors. Beyond getting supplies where they need to go, this hands-on work builds crucial real-world skills—like reading package labels, navigating interactions, and practicing a number of job skills every single day. What an incredible day of volleyball! Both our JV and Freshman teams brought the energy, the hustle, and some seriously amazing plays to their respective tournaments today.
🏆 JV dominated and brought home the championship from the Fieldcrest Tournament!
🏆 Freshman showed out and took 1st place at the Farmington Tournament!
From start to finish, both teams came ready to play and represented our school so well. We are beyond proud of the hard work, teamwork, and heart shown on the court today!
It’s been an incredible week for our HS cross country team!
On Monday, the team met up at Spin Lake to tackle long runs and hill repeats, finishing off the hard work with a fun team meal!
Today brought perfect PR weather for an afternoon meet at Detweiller Park, and the runners took full advantage:
Mira and Ty both medaled with top-25 finishes!
Juliet chopped over 30 seconds off her best time with a 20:43!
Natalie shaved nearly a full minute off, finishing in 21:14!
Kali ran over a minute faster than her previous PR with a 22:54!
Kinsley kept her momentum going, shaving off even more time to hit 21:11!
Noah broke sub-20 for the first time on the boys' side with an awesome 19:50!
Everyone had a phenomenal race today, with almost every runner finishing within seconds of their season best. Next stop: Regionals at Eureka Lake next Saturday! Let’s keep it rolling, Spartans!

These students prepared and submitted auditions in September, showcasing their musical skills through prepared excerpts and technique assessments. Judges reviewed hundreds of submissions from students across our ILMEA district to select the musicians who will participate in this year's festivals.
We are incredibly proud of these students and the hard work, dedication, and preparation they put into their auditions. It is exciting to see so many Olympia musicians recognized for their talents, and we can't wait to see them represent Olympia at the festivals in November!
