Freshman/JVBB vs Champaign Central came out big with the bats and defense tonight winning 18-6.
Colton Hemphill allowed 1 run and 2 hits over 4 innings on the mound. Aiden Kiper and Calvin Fonger helped on the hill as well. Ty Gale, Ethan Labelle, Nolan Birkey, Brody Stork, and August Long all had 2 hits a piece. Kam White and Brody Stork had 3 rbis and White had a stand up double. Only 1 error was committed by the Spartan defense.
Varsity baseball lost the lead in the 5th inning and lost 16-7 vs New Berlin tonight. Wilson and Berlin 2 hits apiece. LaBelle(HR, 2RBI) and Martin(2RBI) with a hit apiece. LaBelle(5IP, 2ER). Spartans are at home tomorrow vs Tri Valley at 4:30.
Lady Spartans varsity soccer drops a hard fought game tonight to Auburn 5-2. Junior Elyse Eimer adds 2 goals to the season total tonight. Senior Anna Johnson with a great effort in the net tacking on 13 saves. Girls return to action as they travel to Monticello on Saturday morning.

JV softball defeated Normal Community JV 14-4 in 6 innings at home. JV will host Metamora JV tomorrow.
JVBB Loses 5-6 Despite Out Hitting Tremont seven to three. Kam White and Ty Gale each collected two hits for Olympia Junior Varsity Spartans.

JvBB vs Pleasant Plains lost 6-1 in a 5 inning game. Ethan Labelle went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Labelle, Ty Olson, and Brody Stork each collected one hit for Olympia Junior Varsity Spartans. Olympia Junior Varsity Spartans were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Kam White made the most plays with seven.

Varsity baseball cut the lead to one in the 4th inning but loses at Pleasant Plains tonight 14-6. Walker(1H). Martin (2.2IP, 2K), Alexander(1.2IP, 1K), Salvator(1.2IP, 2K). Spartans are at home vs New Berlin Thursday at 4:30.
Varsity baseball got a 17-5 win tonight at St. Thomas More. Walker, Wilson and LaBelle with 3H and 3 RBI apiece. Berlin, Springer and Salvator 2 hits apiece. Sloan and Pierce with a hit apiece. Walker(4.2IP, 5K) Pierce(2.1IP, 5K). Spartans at Pleasant Plains tomorrow at 4:30.
Varsity softball defeats Clinton 12-0 at home tonight. JV softball with the 6-0 win. Varsity will open up conference play on Tuesday at Pleasant Plains. JV will have home games Wednesday vs Normal Community JV and Thursday vs Metamora.
Varsity softball went 2-1 for the day at the Spring Slam in Springfield today. The Spartans defeated Morrison 11-2, fell to Liberty 1-4, before bouncing back big to defeat South Fulton 20-1. Varsity and JV softball are at home on Monday vs Clinton.
Varsity baseball fell to Peoria Christian today at Clinton 10-4. Wilson(2H), Springer(2H, RBI), Berlin(2H, RBI), Martin(3B). Sloan(4IP, 8K). Spartans are on the road Monday at St. Thomas More at 4:30.

The Lady Spartans completed a 3-0 homestand this week defeating Bloomington 12-2 (Monday), Mahomet-Seymour 10-0 (Tuesday), and Tremont 3-1 (Thursday), to improve to 6-3 on the season. The varsity team will be traveling to Springfield on Saturday to compete in the Spring Slam at the Scheels Sports Complex.
JV softball also went 3-0 for the week, defeating Bloomington 1-0, Mahomet 7-0, and Tremont 14-0.
