Varsity lost in two sets 25-11&25-17, JV and Freshman both lost in two sets. Olympia Middle School staff spent the afternoon digging into The Writing Revolution 2.0. Our school wide learning goal this year is to improve student writing. We have been working hard to break down writing skills into manageable steps for students. The staff spent time learning different ways to offer specific and actionable feedback to student writing. We believe that strong writing skills are essential for students to achieve success in all subject areas.

Today the Olympia Middle School Cross Country team had an awesome day of running at our sectional meet. There were lots of great races from our athletes including 5 PRs and a 2nd and 1st place finish. A big congratulations goes out to Ty Gale and Mili Rebbe on qualifying for the state meet next weekend. We are so proud of all of our athletes and are looking forward to a great last week of our season.
The Olympia Transition Program went on a Community Based Instruction (CBI) trip today to the Picket Fence Foundation! The Olympia High school FFA will be hosting a Barn Dance once again!! It will be on Monday, November 4th @7 and go until 9pm. It will take place at Funk Farms, the Address is 5959 N 1100 East Rd, Shirley IL. It will cost $5 per ticket. We hope to see you their!!

SPARTANS TOP BOMBERS ON SENIOR NIGHT!! Varsity boys soccer topped Argenta-Oreana 3-0 last night in the finale of the regular season. Senior Cooper Phillips started the scoring netting his 2nd goal of the year and continued his attack on the evening netting his 3rd goal of year to put the boys up 2-0 right before the 20 min mark. Junior Austin Rebbe added onto his season total adding the 3rd goal of the night right before half. Sophomore Casey Salvator tacked on another 5 saves to his season total in the net as well. We want to thank the seniors for their hard work and dedication to the boys program and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors! Boys back in action Tuesday night as they start post season play at Peoria Manual for a 4:30 kickoff.
