OTP students read a couple books with their buddy & then we read Crankenstein as a whole group & talked about coping skills we can use when we feel cranky. If you notice your kid getting pulled into digital drama, help them take a break. They might need some help setting limits. Putting devices to bed at a specific time, plus breaks for mealtimes and face-to-face connection, can help kids recharge.
At tonight's New Teacher Academy, veteran teachers from across the district came together to share their best practices for a successful classroom environment and student learning. The theme of conversation was that "We are all in for our students!"

This weekend at the IESA 3A state cross country meet, Mili Rebbe and Ty Gale both had outstanding races and earned state medals. Mili finished in 10th place out of 223 runners and Ty finished in 18th place out of 222 runners. In addition to medaling, Ty also ran his personal best time of his career which was an impressive 11:06! Their achievements without a doubt reflect their hard work and determination. We are so proud of these amazing 8th graders and are so excited to see what their futures of running hold for them! We are Spartan proud! 💙🤍
